Environmental Services (EVS) Technician – Full Time

About the role

The Environmental Services (EVS) Technician provides essential cleaning and sanitation services to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors at Tavares Rehab. This full‑time, onsite position works weekdays with occasional weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain hospital facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Follow infection‑control protocols and proper waste disposal procedures.
• Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from clinical areas.
• Adhere to the assigned schedule, including some weekend coverage.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some commercial housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
• Detail‑oriented and reliable.
