Engineering Director – Electrical & Mechanical Engineering

About the role

This senior position leads multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering advanced electrical power, switchgear, and control solutions for data centers and mission‑critical infrastructure. The role combines hands‑on technical oversight with strategic leadership to drive product delivery, compliance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering teams across electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Define and execute engineering strategy, product roadmaps and delivery schedules.
• Ensure governance, quality standards and technical decision‑making across projects.
• Maintain UL and other regulatory compliance for all products.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations and commercial teams to meet budget and timeline targets.
• Support scaling of the engineering organisation as the business expands.

Required profile

• Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in critical infrastructure, electrical equipment or industrial systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical power distribution, control systems and electromechanical products.
• Experience working in regulated environments with UL compliance exposure.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and technical decision‑making abilities.
