Education & Public Sector Safety AI Trainer (Remote, $140–$160/hr)

About the role

We are looking for experienced professionals from education, public‑sector safety, or youth services to join our AI Labor Marketplace as AI Trainers. In this remote, part‑time consulting role you will help shape AI safety systems by creating and evaluating realistic, industry‑specific scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Generate realistic safety‑related scenarios covering sexual content, violence, self‑harm, and hate.
• Evaluate AI‑generated outputs and identify nuanced edge cases.
• Apply detailed annotation guidelines and add structured metadata.
• Document classification decisions with clear rationale.
• Review and ensure the quality, consistency, and realism of all contributions.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in education, public‑sector safety, youth services, school counseling, public health education, or Title IX administration.
• Background working with schools, nonprofits, or government agencies.
• Proven ability to make operational, compliance, safety, legal, or policy decisions.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• U.S.‑based professional.
