Director of Finance – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Director of Finance leads all financial activities for the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, ensuring the hotel delivers exceptional guest experiences while maintaining strong profitability. This senior position partners with hotel management and ownership to drive sound financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and administer all financial operations, including asset protection, reporting, systems management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
• Serve as the primary financial advisor to hotel leadership and owners.
• Monitor and approve sales, purchases, payroll, and expense transactions.
• Assist department heads in analyzing financial data and recommending actions to maximize profitability.
• Prepare annual plans, projections, and budgets.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop finance team members.

Required profile
