About the role
We are looking for a Data Entry Assistant to support a nonprofit social services organization on a four‑month temporary assignment in Waltham. The position is fully onsite, offers $22 per hour, a 37.5‑hour workweek and flexible start times (8 am‑4 pm or 9 am‑5 pm).
Key responsibilities
- Perform high‑volume data entry with speed and accuracy.
- Scan, organize and maintain documentation and records.
- Process and post checks following established procedures.
- Verify and cross‑check data for accuracy and completeness.
- Support workflow within internal systems, including Provider Direct when applicable.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and collaborate with the team.
Required profile
- Prior data entry or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High typing speed with excellent accuracy.
- Organized, dependable and able to multitask effectively.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
