Data Architect (Hybrid, Temporary)

About the role

Rose International is seeking a senior Data Architect to support a government client in modernizing its legacy data infrastructure. The position is hybrid, primarily remote with occasional onsite sessions, and runs for an estimated 13 months.

Key responsibilities

• Design the vision and blueprint for the organization’s data framework.
• Develop and manage data systems, set policies for storage and access, and coordinate multiple data sources.
• Integrate new data technologies into existing IT environments.
• Perform data modeling, software development, and database administration tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, MIS, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in data ecosystems, SQL query development, ETL pipeline construction, and data architecture design.
• 2+ years of experience working with public‑health agencies (e.g., CDC, NIH, state health departments) on data modernization projects.
