Data Analyst, Delivery Operations

About the role

Gopuff is seeking a Data Analyst to own and drive analytics across its Delivery Operations. The role focuses on three high‑impact domains: dispatch optimization, delivery quality, and fee strategy, directly influencing the company’s bottom line.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze dispatch performance, including delivery times, batching efficiency, and cost metrics, to reduce Delivery Cost Per Order.
• Serve as the analytical liaison for third‑party delivery partners, tracking costs and reliability.
• Build defect‑tracking systems, identify root causes of cancellations and did‑not‑receive events, and partner with operations to reduce defect costs.
• Analyze priority and distance‑based fee frameworks, balancing revenue growth with customer experience.
• Create AI‑enhanced dashboards and automated reports using tools such as Claude to accelerate insight generation.
• Design and run A/B tests on dispatch settings and partner incentives, translating results into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Service to implement data‑driven operational improvements.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in an analytical, operations, or strategy role.
• Strong SQL proficiency and comfort writing complex queries.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate findings to diverse stakeholders.
