About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity & AI Safety Engineer to join our AI Labor Marketplace as an AI Trainer. This part‑time, remote consulting role focuses on creating and evaluating realistic industry‑specific safety scenarios to improve large language model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Generate realistic, industry‑specific scenarios covering sexual content, violence, self‑harm, and hate.
• Evaluate AI‑generated content and model outputs for safety and policy compliance.
• Identify nuanced edge cases and apply structured annotation guidelines.
• Document classification decisions with clear rationale and metadata.
• Review work for quality, consistency, and realism.
• Contribute professional expertise to the development of safety classifiers.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, AI safety, software security, or threat research.
• Background in offensive security, red teaming, vulnerability research, AI/ML systems engineering, or threat modeling.
• Senior‑level titles such as Senior Security Engineer, Red Team Lead, or Staff ML Safety Engineer.
• U.S.‑based professional able to work remotely.
