About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a contractor to provide specialized proton clinical medical physics support. This role contributes to the safe and effective delivery of proton therapy within a collaborative academic health environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver proton therapy physics services for clinical patients.
• Perform quality assurance, calibration, and safety checks on proton equipment.
• Support treatment planning and dose verification activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations, including vaccination and work‑authorization requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in medical physics or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability in proton clinical medical physics support.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved exemption.
