Community Outreach Intern – Women’s Health

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a motivated intern to join its Community Women’s Health Initiative (ACWIH). This unpaid position supports projects that expand access to women’s and infant health services across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with community outreach activities aimed at reducing barriers to care.
• Collect and organize data for program evaluation and reporting.
• Conduct policy research related to women’s health services.
• Support the development of educational and outreach materials.
• Collaborate with staff on program planning and implementation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong interest in public health, women’s health, or community service.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
