Community Manager – San Francisco

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of a mid‑rise property in San Francisco’s Mission District. The role combines property management, resident engagement, and financial oversight to ensure a high‑quality living experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing the property budget, analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and code expenses to the appropriate accounts.
• Maintain petty cash and control expenditures within budget limits.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve resident applications, manage renewals, conduct inspections, and handle evictions and late‑fee collections.
• Be available for after‑hours building emergencies and respond to resident inquiries.

Required profile

• Familiarity with the San Francisco market, especially the Mission District sub‑market.
• Experience in property or community management with a focus on financial performance.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with insurance and contractual terms.
