About the role
The Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Novel Nona property, ensuring that financial and operational targets are achieved while maintaining compliance with all relevant housing regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage the property budget by analyzing financial statements and market data.
- Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate payments with accounting.
- Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
- Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
- Monitor market and economic trends to shape short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies.
Required profile
- Experience managing property operations and teams.
- Strong ability to analyze financial data and forecast performance.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
