About the role
The Benefits Assistant supports the Operations Coordination and Liaison Unit in delivering pension benefits for United Nations staff and member‑organization participants. Based in the UNJSPF office in Manhattan, the role ensures smooth and rapid processing of benefits while adhering to the Fund’s regulations and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide assistance in planning, implementing, and preparing operations support activities for a large, complex programme to ensure efficient processing of pension benefits.
- Serve as the focal point for coordination, monitoring, and expedition of OCLU project implementation activities, liaising with internal units and member organisations, preparing terms of reference, obtaining clearances, processing administrative actions, and analysing project data.
