Automotive Service Manager

About the role

Stateline CDJR is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our busy service department in Fort Mill, SC. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving profitability and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing service team of technicians, advisors, and support staff.
• Drive department profitability through efficient shop flow, upsell opportunities, and KPI monitoring (CSI, RO count, hours per RO, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines and dealership policies.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer‑first service.
• Collaborate with Fixed Ops and Sales to support dealership‑wide goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager in an automotive dealership (3‑6 months recent proof required).
• Strong understanding of fixed‑ops KPIs, warranty processes, and service‑drive operations.
• Leadership skills that inspire performance and growth.
• Clear communication abilities with customers and staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred.
• 3‑5 years of automotive service management experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
