Associate II – Production Planning

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Associate II in Production Planning to support material scheduling and flow at its manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. You will work within the Supply Chain function to ensure that materials are available for production, helping the company deliver eye‑care products efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain schedules for material requirements and availability to support production control.
• Compile records on quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock, or in production.
• Support the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments according to production and shipping schedules.
• Identify possible and actual shortages and initiate corrective actions.
• Apply specialized knowledge to perform tasks, manage production orders, and achieve objectives.
• Follow standard operating procedures, complete required training, and contribute to regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (or high school + 8 years; Associate + 4 years).
• Fluent reading, writing, and communication in English.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST onsite.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• No sponsorship available.
