Associate, Business Development – Bio+Health

About the role

Andreessen Horowitz’s Bio+Health Business Development team is looking for an Associate to help build commercial and strategic partnership opportunities for its healthcare portfolio. You will work closely with portfolio companies, corporate partners, and federal agencies to accelerate product‑market fit and scale commercialization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the firm’s relationships with corporate partners in healthcare.
• Track partnership opportunities, maintain internal systems, and update dashboards.
• Support coordination of internal projects and organize events, roundtables, and industry convenings.
• Create presentation materials for internal and external audiences.
• Maintain documentation of partner engagement, meetings, and outcomes.
• Manage day‑to‑day interaction with portfolio companies, including connections with industry partners.
• Provide project and account management support for partnership initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in healthcare, consulting, partnerships, or project coordination.
• Self‑starter with a strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, and positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and track detailed follow‑ups.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
• Low ego, high empathy, and capacity to collaborate with diverse teams.
