Assistant Marketing Manager

About the role

Warner Bros. Discovery’s TNT Sports division is looking for an execution‑focused marketer to join the team as an Assistant Marketing Manager. You will help drive audience consumption of key sports properties such as the College Football Playoff, Big 12 football, FIA WEC and more, while supporting the broader marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of marketing programs, coordinating internal resources and external partners.
• Support creative ideation, manage asset requests, and ensure all marketing materials are on‑brand and aligned with strategy.
• Track and traffic marketing assets to internal teams and external vendors.
• Build presentations and post‑mortems for major sports tentpoles and priority initiatives.
• Set priorities, schedule on‑air graphics, and write copy for on‑air reads and media buys.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Creative Services, Talent, Social, Insights, Bleacher Report, Media Group and Marketing Operations.
• Partner with the Marketing Manager to meet objectives across print, digital and video communications.
• Hire, manage and train semester interns.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of marketing and/or sports experience, preferably supporting strategy and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
• Strong work ethic, self‑starter attitude and passion for sports, especially basketball and football.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
