About the role
The Assistant Dean for Academic Excellence, Assessment & Outcomes at the Berkley School of Nursing (BSON) provides strategic oversight of assessment systems, program evaluation and outcomes measurement, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and accreditation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic vision and direction for assessment, evaluation and outcome measurement across all BSON programs.
- Oversee program‑level evaluation methods and accreditation reporting (e.g., CCNE, AACN, BON, NLN Center of Excellence, ACME, COA).
- Consult with faculty and program directors throughout the assessment cycle, from data collection to reporting.
- Collaborate with the Vice Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs and other academic leaders to ensure curricular coherence and student success.
- Promote a culture of academic excellence, continuous quality improvement, and evidence‑informed decision making.
Required profile
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and antiracism.
- Experience in higher‑education assessment, program evaluation, or related academic administration.
- Strong collaborative and communication abilities to work across multiple campus units.
