Area Control Center (ACC) Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking an Area Control Center (ACC) Supervisor for the Space Force Range Contract. The supervisor oversees the ACC and Range Control Center (RCC) and its employees through the planning and scheduling of launch and aeronautical operations, and acts as liaison between Amentum, the Space Launch Delta 30, 2ROPS/DON, Range Customers and hosted organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure control of airspace and air assets in support of launch operations, pre-launch tests and aeronautical operations.
• Support launch and aeronautical operations in USSF-certified Duty Air Controller, Air Controller, Surface Area Surveillance Controller and Instrumentation Controller positions.
• Keep the ACC staffed with qualified, properly trained personnel and coach those who cannot meet Amentum standards.
• Review work products before release and ensure compliance with USSF, DoD and FAA regulations.
• Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions in line with the Performance Work Statement and Contract Deliverable requirements.
• Pursue improvements to the quality, efficiency and timeliness of enterprise solutions and services.

Required profile

• At least five years of related work experience in a technical or military environment; three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Graduate of a USAF Air Weapons Controller/Air Weapons Manager course, USN Air Intercept Controllers course or equivalent air or weapons control training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Flexibility to work non-duty hours or on weekends for project or mission needs.

What we offer

• Starting salary of $100,000-$118,000 per year, with possible bonus or long-term incentive awards.
