Architectural Designer / Project Coordinator

About the role

Heights Venture is looking for a dynamic Architectural Designer/Project Coordinator to join its fast‑paced Houston team. The role combines design development with project coordination, ensuring that project documents are accurate, on schedule, and meet all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage time and self‑coordinate the development of project documents for assigned phases.
• Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day project activities under the supervision of the project supervisor.
• Create and present visual concepts using Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Schedule, coordinate, and communicate with the project team and allocate personnel as needed.
• Research building codes, zoning guidelines, and gather data required for each project phase.
• Prepare construction documents and ensure technical accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain project schedules, update files, and adhere to office standards and the Project Reference Manual.

Required profile

• Accredited degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architectural design and coordination.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Experience with Enscape or other architectural rendering software (plus).
