Ambulatory Nurse

About the role

The Ambulatory Nurse provides direct patient care in a community‑based primary care setting, reporting to the Administrative Manager. This full‑time position focuses on delivering safe treatments, medication administration, and education to improve health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform treatments and administer medications following established protocols.
• Assist with procedures that do not require anesthesia, maintaining strict aseptic technique.
• Provide patient and family education to support informed health decisions.
• Involve family or significant others in care planning and decision‑making.
• Delegate and evaluate tasks performed by assistive personnel according to the hospital nursing plan.
• Advocate for each patient’s individual health needs and respect their right to make medical decisions.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nursing license in the State of Ohio.
• Commitment to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within five years of hire.
• Full‑time availability (32 hours per week).

Required skills

• Medication administration.
• Aseptic technique for non‑anesthetic procedures.
