Advanced Practice RN – Pediatric Primary Care

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a board‑certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join its Pediatric Primary Care team. This full‑time, onsite position provides comprehensive primary care services to children and adolescents in a collaborative, academic health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct well‑child examinations, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests in accordance with state and institutional protocols.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and document all patient interactions.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, patient education, and community outreach programs.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted APRN license in Arkansas.
• RN licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on pediatrics.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
