Admissions Counselor

About the role

The Admissions Counselor supports the university’s recruitment efforts by connecting prospective students and their families with information about academic programs, admission policies, and financial aid. This full‑time, on‑site position involves regular travel to represent the campus at various events.

Key responsibilities

• Attend college fairs, high school visits, and virtual events to attract potential students.
• Provide detailed information about the university’s resources, programs, and admission requirements.
• Advise students and families on financial aid options, program choices, and career pathways.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and follow‑up communications.
• Travel overnight and occasionally on weekends for recruitment events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two to three years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Deep understanding of admissions processes, financial aid, and institutional policies.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
