About the role
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in a busy legal office located in Midtown East. The role involves handling communications, scheduling, document preparation, and basic financial tasks while ensuring a professional and organized environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external communications.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
- Draft, edit, and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and assist with budget tracking.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of administrative or clerical experience in a legal setting.
- Experience supporting multiple team members or departments in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with basic financial processes such as invoice tracking and expense reporting.
Required skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet).
- Comfortable using office or project‑management tools such as Slack, Salesforce, or QuickBooks.
