Accounting Manager (French Speaking)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who is fluent in French and English to lead daily accounting operations in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment. The role is fully remote and supports cross‑functional teams across the United States and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash and credit management, and general ledger activities.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, preparing financial statements, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, SOX requirements and company policies.
• Support external audits and prepare audit documentation.
• Drive improvements in accounting processes, procedures and controls.
• Partner with finance teams on budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, assist treasury activities and contribute to tax reporting.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff and collaborate with HR, Finance and Operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including prior Accounting Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience supporting Canadian or international operations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with SOX and internal control frameworks.
