Workforce Education Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a Workforce Education Instructor to join the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Crossett Campus. The instructor will develop and deliver computer science and business technology courses for young adult learners, supporting the university’s mission to provide industry‑aligned education.

Key responsibilities

• Create lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments for computer science and business technology programs.
• Deliver classroom instruction, including occasional evening or unscheduled sessions.
• Gather and incorporate student feedback to continuously improve course delivery.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in computer science, business technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer science and business technology programs and processes.
• Experience working with young adult learners is highly valued.
• Ability to meet university obligations and participate in campus events.
