Ticket/Gate Agent – Customer Service (Miami)

About the role

Delta Air Lines is seeking an entry‑level Ticket/Gate Agent to be the first point of contact for passengers at Miami International Airport. You will guide travelers through check‑in, baggage handling, and boarding while ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the check‑in and boarding processes, including seat assignments and gate announcements.
• Handle baggage tagging, lifting, and transfer to conveyor belts, with some items weighing up to 70 lb.
• Operate loading bridges, open and secure aircraft doors, and assist with loading bridges.
• Escort unaccompanied minors and passengers with disabilities throughout the airport.
• Adapt to shift schedules ranging from early morning to overnight, working 20–40 hours per week based on seniority.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication.
• Commitment to safety, security, and diverse, inclusive service.
• Ability to pass a Physical Ability Test and a Customer Service Assessment.
