Strategic Account Manager – Food & Beverage (West Coast)

About the role
Square is looking for a seasoned Strategic Account Manager to own relationships with our largest Food & Beverage sellers across the Houston area and the West Coast. You will act as the trusted advisor for high‑value restaurant merchants, helping them expand revenue and adopt Square’s integrated commerce solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 150‑175 strategic Food & Beverage sellers.
- Drive account‑based revenue growth through use‑case expansion, cross‑selling, and tailored onboarding experiences.
- Serve as the voice of up‑market sellers to product teams, influencing roadmap priorities.
- Consult with restaurant owners and C‑level executives to align Square’s ecosystem with their business goals.
- Identify technical solution opportunities and lead project execution for complex implementations.
Required profile
- Proven track record of exceeding sales KPIs in a customer‑facing role.
- Strong storytelling, organization, and persistence when influencing internal stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of commerce trends, especially within the Food & Beverage sector.
- Ability to navigate complex negotiations and multi‑party projects.
- Self‑motivated, comfortable working independently in ambiguous environments.
