Senior Manager – Remanufacturing (Engines, Transmissions, Axles)

About the role

The Senior Manager of Remanufacturing will define and execute the strategy for remanufacturing engines, transmissions and axle components, creating a scalable program that enhances machine lifecycle value and drives aftermarket revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a remanufacturing roadmap, pricing models and margin targets for engines, transmissions and axles.
• Define reman standards, specifications and quality requirements; partner with engineering to ensure Design for Reman (DFR) principles.
• Establish core collection, teardown, inspection, rebuild and testing processes; build supplier networks or internal facilities.
• Set warranty policies, performance KPIs and monitor field performance to drive corrective actions.
• Create dealer programs, provide training and technical support to increase reman adoption.
• Own the P&L for the reman business, delivering revenue growth and managing ROI and working capital.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field (MBA preferred).
• 15‑20+ years of experience in heavy equipment, powertrain or remanufacturing.
• Proven track record in aftermarket parts, service operations or reman programs.
• Strong business acumen with P&L management experience.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, supply chain, dealers and service teams.
