Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Zipline is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Data Platform team. In this role you will build and maintain the internal tools and infrastructure that power Zipline’s autonomy development, from data pipelines to the applications used daily by engineers and operators. You will collaborate with senior engineers across the global organization, including the San Francisco headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a suite of internal tools that support the annotation team in producing high‑quality machine‑learning datasets.
• Work closely with Machine Learning and Autonomy teams to understand their workflow requirements and ensure tools are optimized for accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop data pipelines and data models for integrating labelled ML data for autonomy engineers.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline manual annotation processes while preserving data quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience building full‑stack applications in fast‑moving, high‑impact environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams worldwide.
• Comfort with rapid iteration, scaling systems, and delivering reliable software that directly supports mission‑critical operations.
