About the role
As the Sales Training & Development Manager for GALLO in New Jersey, you will shape the learning strategy for field sales teams, ensuring representatives and merchandisers have the knowledge and confidence to exceed targets. You will partner with sales leadership, HR and cross‑functional partners to design and deliver innovative onboarding, coaching and advanced sales programs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of sales training curricula, including orientation, modular field coaching and advanced seminars.
- Manage a team of trainers, coordinating resources, budgets and schedules for high‑impact learning initiatives.
- Develop and maintain orientation materials, pre‑work assignments, manager toolkits and assessment tools.
- Analyze training data and ROI, using analytics to continuously improve program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with regional managers to gather feedback, recognize successes and address performance gaps.
- Champion diversity, equity and inclusion in all training content and delivery.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of retail sales experience, including time as a District Manager, **or** a high school diploma with 8 years of retail sales experience including District Manager duties.
- Proven ability to lead and develop training teams in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Strong partnership skills with sales leadership, HR and cross‑functional stakeholders.
