Private Equity Associate – Infrastructure

About the role

Madison Hunt is partnering with the infrastructure arm of a sovereign wealth fund to hire an Associate for its New York investment team. The role focuses on evaluating and executing investments across core and core‑plus infrastructure sectors, including energy, utilities, transportation, digital infrastructure, and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess new investment opportunities in infrastructure and energy transition sectors.
• Build and review detailed financial models, including operating models and investment return analyses.
• Conduct commercial, financial, and technical due diligence alongside advisors and internal teams.
• Prepare investment committee materials and support transaction execution.
• Collaborate with senior investment professionals throughout the full transaction lifecycle.

Required profile

• Experience evaluating and executing infrastructure or energy transition investments.
• Strong analytical abilities with a focus on financial modeling and return analysis.
• Ability to conduct thorough commercial, financial, and technical diligence.
• Comfort working closely with senior investment professionals in a fast‑paced environment.
