About the role

We are looking for a dedicated, patient‑focused Pharmacist to join Boudreaux's New Drug Store. In this role you will ensure safe and effective medication use, provide clinical expertise, and contribute to improved patient outcomes across diverse healthcare settings.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Conduct immunization services and educate patients on vaccine benefits and schedules.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed.
• Perform pharmacoeconomic assessments to optimize medication costs while maintaining quality care.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency program or equivalent experience.
• Board certification in a pharmacy specialty (e.g., BCPS, BCGP) is preferred.
• Experience in clinical or hospital pharmacy settings.
