About the role
Alcon is seeking a Glaucoma Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to cover the Jackson, MS territory. This remote position focuses on promoting Alcon’s glaucoma portfolio, building disease awareness, and ensuring patient access to treatments.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to grow sales of Rocklatan, Rhopressa, and Simbrinza.
- Build disease awareness with physicians and practitioners, and support treatment initiation processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on prior authorizations, payor restrictions, and reimbursement issues.
- Manage the sales budget, track account metrics, and present progress reports.
- Maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, attend meetings, congresses, and training events.
- Coordinate product presentations, informative programs, and training sessions.
- Prospect new accounts and identify growth opportunities within the territory.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school + 10 years, Associate + 6 years, M.S. + 0 years).
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate fluently in English.
