About the role

The Neuroscience Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care within the neuroscience unit of a major academic medical center. This position supports physicians, nurses, and allied health staff by ensuring safe and effective care for patients with neurological conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record vital signs, neurological status, and patient responses.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures specific to neuroscience care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure infection control standards and patient safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Patient Care Technician preferred.
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting, ideally in neurology or related specialties.
