Manufacturing Associate I

About the role

The Manufacturing Associate I performs highly repetitive production tasks that involve positioning, inserting, or adhering materials, parts, and components in a specific manner. The role works with manual and semi‑automatic equipment, follows standard operating procedures, and ensures product quality and safety on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Operate manual and semi‑automatic machinery to assemble components according to purchase orders, Kanban cards, visual aids, and standard work instructions.
• Inspect work continuously, separate non‑conforming parts, and report quality issues to the Quality department.
• Maintain production targets by tracking output, scrap, and hourly performance metrics.
• Record daily attendance, production data, and scrap statistics for control boards and SQDC reporting.
• Keep work areas clean and organized following 5S or progressive 5S procedures.
• Use and care for personal protective equipment and safety devices; report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Follow all occupational safety, quality, environmental, and plant policies.

Required profile

• Completed at least the fourth year of high school from an accredited institution.
• Preferably 1‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, work safely, and meet production standards.
