Make Ready Specialist – Soltra Firewheel (Garland, TX)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Make Ready Specialist to prepare vacant apartments for new residents at the Soltra Firewheel community in Garland, TX. You will ensure each unit meets the company’s quality standards and is market‑ready in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all repairs and improvements required before resident move‑in, following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect and repair or replace damaged sheetrock.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervisor direction.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, including trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings, and complete OSHA‑related training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answering questions and addressing maintenance concerns efficiently.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
• Commitment to safety and proper tool usage.
