Make Ready Specialist – Communities of Bent Tree

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Make Ready Specialist to ensure vacant apartments are turned over to market‑ready condition quickly and to the company’s quality standards. You will work on the Bent Tree community in Addison, performing a variety of technical and mechanical tasks to prepare units for new residents.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements on vacant units following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect and repair or replace damaged sheetrock.
• Perform touch‑up painting on vacant and occupied units under supervisor direction.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, including trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly.
• Follow Greystar safety policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Customer‑service mindset, treating residents respectfully and responding promptly to maintenance inquiries.
