Maintenance Technician – Whitehall Parc

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s team at Whitehall Parc in Charlotte, NC. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies and completing all maintenance tasks before new move‑ins.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Commitment to follow safety standards, company policies and applicable code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory management.
