Maintenance Technician – Park Vue

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Park Vue community in Salt Lake City. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. You will respond to resident requests, perform preventative maintenance and prepare vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials and tools efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical or building defects.
• Experience completing make‑ready processes for vacant apartments.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and re‑ordering procedures.
• Attention to accurate documentation of service requests.
• Willingness to follow safety and risk‑management policies.
• Capability to perform general grounds and amenity upkeep.
