Maintenance Technician (Encasa)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Encasa community, a stabilized mid‑rise property with 465 units. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas safe, functional, and attractive.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and maintain up‑to‑date paperwork.
• Assist with grounds, common area, and amenity upkeep as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule (8 am‑5 pm or 9 am‑6 pm) with two consecutive days off and on‑call rotation.
• Strong industry knowledge and a proactive, safety‑first attitude.
