Maintenance Technician – Avana Chase Community

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures the community’s physical environment is well‑maintained, keeping grounds, amenities, and curb appeal at high standards while supporting the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings to keep them tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor and routine service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to policy and verify pool gate functionality for safety compliance.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA and related training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to follow lock‑changing procedures and safety codes.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
