Maintenance Manager – $120k-$130k (DOE)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep of our bakery and food‑processing equipment in a high‑volume pizza production environment. You will ensure safe, reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance department, supervising and developing a team of technicians.
• Prepare and reconcile the maintenance budget, track expenses and report regularly.
• Plan and execute the annual preventive‑maintenance schedule for all machinery and facility systems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to minimize production impact.
• Oversee repairs, installations, and upgrades of bakery equipment, electrical devices, pipe systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC‑controlled machinery, refrigeration and HVAC.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and order as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and conduct safety training.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a maintenance team in a manufacturing or food‑processing setting.
• Strong understanding of safety practices for mechanical and electrical work.
• Ability to develop budgets, track costs and manage vendor relationships.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritize work under production pressures.

Required skills

• Electrical systems – transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters, safety and limit switches.
• Mechanical systems – pumps, motors, bearings, HVAC, refrigeration.
• Plumbing, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Computer controls and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming and troubleshooting.
• Preventive‑maintenance planning and execution.
