Maintenance Engineer (Spanish Speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance and improvement initiatives at our fast‑growing food manufacturing and distribution plant in Duluth, GA. The role combines hands‑on technical work with project oversight to ensure reliable, efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute maintenance and improvement plans across the processing plant.
• Approve and oversee capital projects, including equipment purchases and facility upgrades.
• Monitor maintenance budgets and control repair expenses.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance systems and procedures.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate timely reorders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Recommend and implement plant improvements in automation, security, and efficiency.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and daily activity reports.
• Research and evaluate new technologies for production and facility enhancement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or processing plant environment.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
• Mechanical engineering background (IMA, IME, or similar).
• Strong communication skills and self‑direction.
• Leadership experience in maintenance or operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading and managing electrical diagrams.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Mechanical engineering knowledge applicable to food manufacturing equipment.
