Legal Executive Assistant

About the role

Ropes & Gray is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant (LEA) to serve as the right hand to its attorneys. This position offers the chance to work alongside industry‑leading lawyers, manage day‑to‑day activities, and act as a central hub for information flow within the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive, high‑quality client service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as gatekeeper, screening, organizing, and prioritizing requests for assigned lawyers.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all interactions and communications.
• Facilitate smooth collaboration by cross‑training teammates and ensuring continuity of service.
• Manage the flow of information, handling telephone calls, emails, and meeting logistics on behalf of attorneys.
• Support attorneys with document preparation, filing, and coordination of deadlines.
