Leasing Professional – Virage Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional for the Virage community will drive occupancy, revenue and resident retention by managing all leasing activities from prospecting to move‑in and lease renewal. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a high‑quality experience throughout the leasing cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, including credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and coordinate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy, confirm move‑in readiness and coordinate any maintenance tasks.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet occupancy targets.
