Leasing Professional – The Fairways at Raccoon

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for The Fairways at Raccoon, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction. You will guide prospects through the leasing process, ensure smooth move‑ins, and support resident retention throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages, ensuring a seamless resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance to achieve move‑in ready condition.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing on platforms such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.
• Maintain show unit quality in line with company standards.

Required profile

• Experience in leasing or property management with a focus on achieving occupancy goals.
• Strong attention to detail for application processing, apartment inspections, and data management.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
• Comfort with interacting directly with prospects and residents throughout the leasing cycle.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with internet marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
• Knowledge of credit screening and background check procedures.
