Leasing Professional – Oceanaire Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive marketing, leasing and renewal activities for the Oceanaire community, a stabilized 216‑unit property in Long Beach. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident retention targets while delivering a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding work with maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising using Craigslist, Facebook, email and other platforms.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to manage leasing data and resident information.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of leasing experience, preferably in affordable workforce housing.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday, 9 am‑6 pm (schedule may change).
• Preferred experience with Yardi property‑management software.

• Yardi property‑management system.
• OneSite or similar leasing software.
• Internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email marketing).
