About the role
This position is with a fast‑growing beverage brand looking to expand its retail footprint across the Central and Eastern United States. The Key Account Manager will own regional grocery, natural and specialty accounts, driving distribution, sales velocity and overall revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Own and grow regional retail accounts across grocery, natural and specialty channels.
- Develop and execute account growth plans to increase distribution, ACV, velocity and revenue.
- Lead line reviews, promotional planning, innovation sell‑in and new item presentations with key retail partners.
- Build compelling customer presentations using syndicated data and category insights.
- Drive new business development with targeted regional grocery accounts.
- Manage broker relationships and field execution partners to ensure strong retail performance.
- Partner cross‑functionally with marketing, operations and supply‑chain teams.
- Own forecasting, sales planning, trade‑spend management and performance tracking for assigned accounts.
- Travel regularly for retailer meetings, market visits and industry events.
Required profile
- 5+ years of CPG sales experience, preferably in beverage.
- Proven success managing regional grocery accounts and developing growth strategies.
- Strong relationships across Midwest and/or Northeast retail channels.
- Experience working with UNFI, KeHE, brokers and merchandising partners.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in a high‑growth environment.
- Experience with emerging, startup or growth‑stage brands is strongly preferred.
Required skills
What we offer
- Base salary $115,000 – $140,000 plus a 20‑25% performance bonus.
