IT Support Technician

About the role

Open Fertility is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide proactive and reactive technology assistance to doctors, nurses, medical assistants and administrative staff across its clinics. The role involves on‑site support, occasional travel between sites, and on‑call coverage to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver IT support to a growing staff of 400+ users, including doctors, nurses, and finance/administrative teams.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, audio/video equipment, and medical‑specific applications.
• Maintain and support Meraki networking, LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and print server infrastructures.
• Manage A/V conferencing systems in multiple conference rooms and offices.
• Handle ticket creation, tracking and resolution in accordance with SLA policies.
• Oversee hardware asset lifecycle, procurement, inventory counts and decommissioning processes.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors and remote IT teams to resolve issues.
• Provide on‑boarding assistance, system deployment and user training during IT orientations.
• Participate in evaluation of new hardware/software solutions and IT projects.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with ability to prioritize critical issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior executives, clinicians and staff.
• Willingness to be on‑call and provide weekend remote coverage on a rotational basis.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
